A six-time NCAA champion and two-time world-record holder, Britt has broken 13 national records. He's been teaching swimming for 22 years.
"In order to learn to swim efficiently in freestyle, wait to start each pull until the opposite hand 'catches up' or touches the outstretched hand. This will help align your body rotation and pull."
Three-hour group clinics at the Lab School in DC cost $140.

He coached at the University of Maryland for 12 years and was Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year in 2005. Now he coaches the Maryland Suburban Swim Club and masters swimmers in Laurel.
"Many masters swimmers and triathletes lose speed as they age due to decreased flexibility. A stretching program of 20 to 30 minutes three or four times a week after the body is very warm—in addition to your training—will help keep your body young, flexible, and fast."
Individual stroke analysis and instruction is $90 an hour. Rates vary for multiple sessions, small groups, and clinics.
