Henri Bendel is Coming to Washington (Pictures)

The storied New York luxury retailer will open in The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City in September. PLUS—Pictures from their Fall lookbook

With hordes of teenagers passing through on class field trips and an ever-changing roster of beloved-but-standard chain stores, the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City is a far cry from posh Fifth Avenue. But that's not stopping legendary New York boutique Henri Bendel from opening a new outpost in a former Victoria's Secret space. This will be Bendel's 13th location, and the store is projected to open in September.

The brand—perhaps best known for its signature brown-and-white stripes—has drawn fans since 1895 with its purses, jewelry, travel gear, and home accessories, as well as up-and-coming designer trunk shows.

For a taste of what the store will offer, we're bringing you a slideshow of our favorite stuff from their fall lookbook, which will be available at the store's grand opening.
