Farmers Fishers Bakers Will Also Delay Its Opening

The Georgetown waterfront spot escaped Sandy-related flooding, but still has to push back its debut.

Well, it could have been worse. The just-remodeled Farmers Fishers Bakers managed to escape Sandy-related flooding, but its opening date did not remain intact. The farm-focused restaurant on the Georgetown waterfront—set to debut on November 7—will now open on Friday, November 9 at 11:30, according to a statement sent out today. (The restaurant’s sushi bar will open at 4 on the 9th.)

Meantime, you can check out menus the website, and make reservations up to two weeks in advance.
