That was pretty quick. Just over a month ago, the Washington Post’s Tom Sietsema broke the news that Washington was losing inventive chef Logan Cox. Cox has left the kitchen at Cleveland Park restaurant Ripple to make his way west—he will eventually land in Seattle, where he plans to show off his considerable skills.
Meanwhile, Ripple owner Roger Marmet has selected a new chef. A press release sent Wednesday reveals that Marjorie Meek-Bradley is in at the wine-centric spot. A Zaytinya alum, Meek-Bradley comes to Ripple from Mike Isabella’s Graffiato, where she was chef de cuisine. Per the release, she has also done stints at Thomas Keller restaurants Per Se and Bouchon, among other places.
Marmet and the Ripple team chose Meek-Bradley from a pool of 75 applicants.
Ripple recently promoted Matthew Fisk to the position of bar manager following Joshua Berner‘s move to Zentan. We will share more information when we have it.
