Attention, men with ill-fitting suits (and the ladies who love them regardless):
Starting Saturday through March 10, the made-to-measure Canadian suiting brand Indochino sets up shop at LivingSocial’s F Street venue, where tailoring experts will take in-person measurements, offer personalized styling, and help customers create a customized suit order through the Indochino website. Those who book an appointment during the pop-up will snag a gratis dress shirt with their suit purchase.
For the uninitiated, Indochino creates semi-custom suits using a self-measurement online ordering system, followed by hand-tailoring and delivery to your doorstep within six weeks. The brainchild of entrepreneurial University of Victoria classmates Heikal Gani and Kyle Vucko, Indochino works as a direct-to-consumer business, allowing for higher quality at lower prices. (No, really: Their suits start at $379.)
Indochino’s Traveling Tailor pop-up shop opens tomorrow at LivingSocial (918 F St., NW). It’ll be open from 8 AM to 8 PM each day. Walk-ins are welcome, or book a 15-minute appointment online.
