How does a parent find the right programs to nurture a child’s passions?
Experts say that including the child in the process is one key and that meeting camp staff is another. “Getting out to camp fairs where they can actually see what the camps have to offer is a tremendous help,” says Nancy Canter, former executive director of the American Camp Association’s Chesapeake Field Office.
