President Obama Celebrates His Birthday at Rose’s Luxury

And here we thought the lines couldn't get longer.

Just when the lines outside Rose’s Luxury couldn’t get any more ridiculous, President Obama and the First Lady made a special stop at the Capitol Hill restaurant to celebrate POTUS’s 54th birthday.

While chef/owner Aaron Silverman has gone on record that even his own parents are asked to wait outside for the first-come, first-serve tables, the Obamas and their party reportedly skipped the queue. A source visiting the restaurant says the group sat at a table in the dining room instead of the private, prix-fixe-only rooftop.

This is the President’s first visit to the lauded Barracks Row spot, and the second for the First Lady.
