What’s special: The collection is comprised of five hotels, each in a different neighborhood. What’s special: The resort, which is located in a 15-mile-long valley in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains, has completed a two-year, $34 million renovation that included construction of two wings with 160 new guest rooms as well as renovation of public areas including the main lodge and a grab-and-go cafe. Overnight rooms have oversized bathrooms, flat-screen televisions, and in-room refrigerators. Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, an 18-hole championship golf course, a spa, a kids’ camp, a shooting range for sporting clays, a climbing wall, and hiking and biking trails.
