H&M’s Beautifully Designed Sister Brand Cos is Coming to Georgetown

We were thrilled to find out that & Other Stories, a sister brand of H&M, is slated to open in Georgetown this fall. But & Other Stories isn’t be the only relative of H&M that’s planning a Georgetown brick and mortar: Cos is currently scheduled to arrive in spring 2017.

If & Other Stories is H&M’s little sister, then Cos is the mature, design-obsessed member of the family. The long, graceful lines of Cos’ men’s and women’s apparel will appeal to minimalists who appreciate simple but elegant clothing.

The new storefront will occupy a 4,940-square-foot, three-story space by the intersection of M Street and Wisconsin. The store’s decor will reflect the minimalism of the designs, using wood and concrete to create a “gallery-like backdrop” for the clothing, according to the press release.

Cos is slated to open at 1200 Wisconsin Avenue, NW next spring.
