Finally! Amazon Prime Now is Available in DC

When Amazon launched its free two-hour delivery service, known as Prime Now, in Northern Virginia, we celebrated the fact that Prime members whose zip code fell into the delivery zone could order so many late night snacks via the delivery window that’s open 8 AM through midnight seven days a week.

Apparently Northern Virginians were actually excited about the snack foods, as according to an Amazon representative, Haribo gummy bears were one of the top-ten most ordered items via Prime Now in Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. The others were bananas, water, and organic baby carrots. Huh. Double huh on the water.

Now, DC residents who are Amazon Prime members can join in on the super-fast delivery service, ordering all the emergency milk, toilet paper, gummy bears, or you know, water, that they need, to be delivered within two hours of ordering. Check the Prime Now site see if the service is available in your zip code, then go ahead and order away.
