Members of the Dutch Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra will hand out free pancakes at 4 pm today in Union Station. Instead of the big fluffy fare found at IHOP, they’ll serve traditional Dutch small pancakes called poffertjes.
The orchestra members are also performing a preview of their concert Tuesday at the Kennedy Center. So if you work near Union Station (or you can commute there easily), it’s worth stopping by this afternoon to satisfy your sweet tooth and your eardrums.
