Just in time for Mother’s Day, Washingtonian is holding a Best Mom Contest. Submit a photo of your mother and tell us why she’s great. We want all of your adorable stories.
The top 10 “best” moms will be voted on by Washingtonian.com readers during the voting period. After the voting period closes, a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner from the top 10 will be chosen by a panel of judges from Washingtonian and our beneficiary, Children’s National Hospital. Judges will be looking for the most unique and creative descriptions about what makes your mom the best.
All applicants will receive a digital faux Washingtonian “World’s Best Mom” cover with their image and name and will be featured in Washingtonian.com’s “Best Mom” photo gallery. The top 3 winning moms will receive a 1/2 page photo and bio in Washingtonian magazine. The winning moms will also be professionally photographed for the magazine.
Deadline to enter is April 25 at 11:59pm. Voting for the top 10 entries will be open April 26 – April 30.
Each submission fee is $35, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Children’s National.
