Mezcalero

Mezcalero celebrates its first Cinco de Mayo with an all-day party. Happy hour starts at 11 am with $5 margaritas and $3.50 Mexican beers. More festivities kick off on the patio at 3 pm, including a $2 build-your-own taco bar available until midnight–not to mention $5 tacos de canastas available from 3 to 10 pm, and $3 tequila shots from 3 to 6 pm.

Taqueria del Barrio
821 Upshur St., NW
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with bottomless bites and drinks from 5 to 9 pm at this new Mexican restaurant in Petworth. Guests can also take advantage of tequila tastings and fun giveaways all night. Tickets ($65) are available online.

Del Campo Rooftop
900 7th St., NW
Del Campo at Dusk returns with a Cinco de Mayo rooftop bash from 6 to 9 pm Cinco de Mayo fiesta. Sip margaritas, feast on Taco Bamba tacos, and take in the views. A late-night happy hour follows at Del Campo. Online tickets are $35 and include unlimited food; open bar is available for $30 at the door, or drinks can be purchased individually.

From 5 pm to close, Glover Park’s only rooftop bar is teaming up with El Jimador tequila for a Cinco de Mayo party. Enjoy half-price margarita pitchers, $10 Bermuda Triangle platters featuring chips, queso, salsa, guacamole, and tons of prizes and giveaways.
Pepita

Pepita is throwing a Cinco de Mayo patio party where the margaritas will be flowing, starting at 11:30 am. For $5, eat suckling pig tacos, dance to music from DJ BuckyStarrJones, and thwack a few piñatas.

Commissary’s all-day Cinco de Mayo celebration includes frozen palomas and spicy margaritas for $5, and a la carte food options like carne asada, crispy chicken tinga taquitos, and beer-braised pork carnitas tacos.

Decades

The retro-inspired club is ringing in Cinco de Mayo on its open-air rooftop with free tacos, $5 Coronas, margaritas, and tequila shots from 5 to 10 pm. Tacos are first-come, first-served and the drinks will flow all night on every floor of the club.

All Set Restaurant and Bar

The bar pours $5 passionfruit, guava, and mango margaritas starting at 3 pm. Guests can also grab a $12 taco plate with a choice of three tacos, including blackened shrimp, grilled hanger steak, and marinated chicken.
