Let’s talk about @liketoknow.it for a bit, shall we? • • I’ve been featured on the LTK main account ~5 times in the entire 3 years I’ve been using it, and I’m thankful for that. However. I get really frustrated at the consistent lack of diversity I see on the account. Seriously, I counted, and they have not featured a woman of color on their account since October 11th. I personally think they could do a *way* better job at featuring bloggers of all shapes AND colors. It’s a little disheartening seeing the same thin, blonde, affluent influencers in my feed over and over. I get that I do not fit the Western society’s definition of beautiful, but it is 2017. It’s time to be more inclusive. • • If anyone else is craving a little more LTK diversity, feel free to use the #LTKwoc hashtag so we can find one another — beauty comes in all different colors, and I think it’s important that WOC see that. http://liketk.it/2tcdf #liketkit
