It’s finally sweater weather.

A new outfit post with this faux leather jacket is coming to the blog tomorrow – and, yes, I made it a little more tailored by pairing it with stripes, flats, and high waisted jeans ?? ?: @somethinggoodbg #liketkit #blogger #dcblogger #dc #igdc #styleblogger #fashionblogger #ootd #whatiwore #wiw #instastyle #style #thatsdarling #flashesofdelight #dcstyle #stylegram #acreativedc #washingtondc #mydccool #lifeiscolorful #acolorstory #acreativedc #leatherjacket #s #girlboss #highwaistedjeans #anthropologie #hstreet #stripes #nordstrom

Classic black.

The shoulder-drape look.

Let’s talk about for a bit, shall we? • • I’ve been featured on the LTK main account ~5 times in the entire 3 years I’ve been using it, and I’m thankful for that. However. I get really frustrated at the consistent lack of diversity I see on the account. Seriously, I counted, and they have not featured a woman of color on their account since October 11th. I personally think they could do a *way* better job at featuring bloggers of all shapes AND colors. It’s a little disheartening seeing the same thin, blonde, affluent influencers in my feed over and over. I get that I do not fit the Western society’s definition of beautiful, but it is 2017. It’s time to be more inclusive. • • If anyone else is craving a little more LTK diversity, feel free to use the #LTKwoc hashtag so we can find one another — beauty comes in all different colors, and I think it’s important that WOC see that. #liketkit

A pop of color.

Comfy knee-highs.

Or opt for a peep-toe.

Not-so-plain plaid.

Never underestimate the power of a good outfit on a bad day #dressforsuccess #slayallday ??
