This Valentine’s Day, you can not only surprise someone with flowers, but participate in a bit of floral philanthropy. All proceeds of this preserved $45 Petite Forever Bouquet from Sophie Felts Floral Design will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This is the Gaithersburg florist’s 4th Annual Flower Drive, and they are aiming to raise $10,000 by February 14.

Orders can be picked up or shipped. If you’d like your Forever Bouquet mailed, pre-order by February 10 to ensure delivery by Valentine’s Day.

Over the past few years, Sophie Felts Floral Design has raised over $35,000 for handpicked charitable causes. The florist raised $10,000 for the Greater Washington Community Foundation’s Partnership to End Homelessness in DC in 2022 and over $6,200 for José Andres’ World Central Kitchen in 2023.

This year’s charity—the National Breast Cancer Foundation—is deeply personal to the top-rated bridal and events florist. A member of the team received a diagnosis for the most common type of breast cancer, invasive ductal carcinoma, at the end of 2023. About 13 percent of women in the United States will develop breast cancer in their lifetime, and the NBCF offers educational guides, programs for early detection and awareness, as well as support groups for patients and survivors.
