Funky sofas, rotating art exhibits, and free wi-fi make this chainlet one of the best places to hunker down with a cappuccino and laptop. Breakfast items lean healthy, with cage-free eggs, fresh fruit, and egg-white omelets—we go for the Oaxacan-style fold-up with black beans, guacamole, and pico de gallo—and plenty of vegan options, mostly $10 or less. Weekend brunch brings bigger crowds and more decadent fare, such as fluffy French toast and mekhleme, a piquant, chili-like Iraqi beef hash with poached eggs. Hours vary by location.
