Classic cartoons from a projector and an amuse-bouche of Nutella-glazed mini-doughnuts make Sunday brunch at this Clarendon spot—the casual counterpart to Tallula next door—a favorite among the kiddie set. While children get their fill of Scooby and Shaggy, parents appreciate the mellow lighting, strong, smooth coffee, and a staff that responds with calm kindness to spilled drinks and temper tantrums. In terms of food, it’s best to stick to the simple stuff: a duo of juicy mini-burgers accompanied by a pile of perfect fries or buttery scrambled eggs with thick-cut toast, fried Red Bliss potatoes, and smoky bacon. Sunday 10 to 2:30.
