These urgent cares are accredited by the Joint Commission, the National Urgent Care Center Accreditation, or Urgent Care Association of America. Yet many urgent cares don’t bother getting accreditation. This doesn’t mean they’re not safe, but urgent cares with these stamps of approval meet a certain level of quality.
