Man Candy: Check Out This Hugh & Crye Fan Video

This is how to introduce a new collection

We’re big fans of Hugh & Crye here at Washingtonian—the Georgetown-based men’s shirting company turns out some seriously GQ-worthy products. At a recent photo shoot at an Alexandria studio, videographer Brandon Bloch was transfixed by the way light filtered through an old window in the space.

“I asked the model if he’d step over to the area so I could shoot him putting each shirt on,” says Bloch. “I shot it in slow motion to be able to focus on little details that would otherwise pass by too quickly.”

The resulting video, which features the brand’s latest collection, is a machismo-filled ode to a guy putting on his Hugh & Crye shirt as he gets ready for the day. And that sexy, swagger-filled song in the background? It’s “Hollywood Hollows” by U.S. Royalty (who makes an appearance in the people to watch section of our Fall Arts Guide). Chiseled model aside, there’s just so much DC love in this thing that we had to share.
