Halloween Fitness Events in Washington

Dance the night away to Michael Jackson or ride around DC with a bunch of zombies. Take your pick.

As Halloween is just around the corner, we’re rounding up some last-minute fitness events that have popped up in honor of the scariest night of the year. Now you don’t have to feel too guilty about gorging on all that office candy.

Sculpt DC Halloween Party
Friday, October 26

Don your best Halloween costume and head over to Sculpt DC in Penn Quarter for the 5:30 (Sculpt Yoga) and 6 PM (Club Sculpt) classes for a Halloween party. (Read more about Sculpt Yoga in our roundup of new fall fitness classes.) Club Sculpt features 45 minutes of total-body training set to music by a live deejay. An after-party will follow, and Best Costume prizes will be given out. Single classes are $25.

Revolve DC SpooktaculaRide
Friday, October 26

Cycling instructors Angel and Francina will lead the always intense rides at RevolveDC—in costume, of course. The ride is an extra 45 minutes long, starting at 6 and ending at 7:30 PM. Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed. Single classes are $20 and rental shoes are $2.

YaLa Fitness Dance Party to Michael Jackson
Saturday, October 27

Trainer Laurent Amzallag is back with his high-intensity, super-fun dance workouts on the Southwest Waterfront. This time, get your dance on to all Michael Jackson songs, and check out an aerial aerobatics show by Artisan Athletics and complimentary snacks and “Yalatinis.” Proceeds go toward Best Buddies and Children’s National Medical Center. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. 5 to 7 PM.

BicycleSPACE Night of the Bicycling Dead
Tuesday, October 30

This isn’t your typical Dandies & Qaintrelles hipster ride. In what’s sure to be a very creepy sight, hundreds of riders will trek through the city dressed as zombies. As the event invitation says, prizes will go to those “whose appearances have been most transformed by the plague.” Afterward, play a game of Capture the Brains. The event is free, but an $8 donation is requested to support BicycleSPACE
