Update: Beware of Gym Robber in Arlington

Police are looking for an at-large larceny suspect who steals credit cards from local gym lockers.

If your local gym is in the North Arlington area, keep your valuables close next time you work out. According to Arlington County Police reports, a local man has been accused of robbing gym-goers’ lockers and stealing their wallets and credit cards.

The report, released today and first reported by ARL Now, states that Robert Brockington, 37, is wanted for multiple counts of credit card larceny and credit card fraud. He’s taken to stealing credit cards from various gyms and using them to purchase items throughout the area.

Reported robberies have occurred at the following gyms*:

  • Gold’s Gym – 1200 block of North Filmore Street
  • Gold’s Gym – 3900 block of Wilson Boulevard
  • Sport and Health – 1100 block of North Kirkwood

Brockington is described as a black male who is about six feet tall and 250 pounds. He has a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
