Fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs, Caesar and caprese salads, cheese-crusted, herby garlic bread—the menu at new food truck Little Italy on Wheels is full of classic red-sauce-restaurant favorites.
Chef and owner Tony Battistello developed the mobile eatery alongside wife Dana; the recipes on the menu were inspired by his Neapolitan grandmother. The truck will begin making the rounds on Tuesday, September 3, when Battistello will be handing out free samples of spaghetti and garlic bread, and raffling off prizes including three free entrées plus sides or drinks.
