Forever 21 to Open a Second DC Location in Georgetown

It’s next up in the Georgetown Park Mall’s retail makeover.

Great news for bargain shoppers: Georgetown is rapidly becoming a destination for affordable retail. In the past year, the buzzy neighborhood known for its upscale shopping has become home to T.J. Maxx/Homegoods, a revamped H&M, and a soon-to-open DSW. Next to join the mix is fast-fashion retailer Forever 21.

Washington Business Journal reports that a new Forever 21 store will take over H&M’s old 20,000-square-foot space in the Georgetown Park Mall, originally slated to house Walgreens. The upcoming location is the second in the District after Metro Center; other outposts exist in surrounding Montgomery, Pentagon City, and Columbia malls.
