Cava Grill Expands to Dupont Circle

Plus free meals at the new Ashburn location on Thursday.

Fresh off an opening at Reagan National Airport, Cava Grill announces their next location: Dupont Circle. The local Mediterranean chain will debut in the former Bertucci’s space at 1220 Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. The projected start date: spring 2016.

The Dupont location will vary slightly from others. New features include a separate space for online order pick-ups given the density of offices in the area, and more seasonal vegetables, soups, and fresh juices. Customizable bowls and pita sandwiches will remain the focus, with a lineup of local beers and wines on tap.

In the meantime, Cava Grill debuts an Ashburn branch tomorrow at 19825 Belmont Chase Drive. As is part of their tradition, opening day brings free meals at lunch (11 to 2) and dinner (5 to 8) with a suggested donation to non-profit City Blossoms.
