Meet Scandal Costume Designer Lyn Paolo at The Limited
On the eve of her Smithsonian Associates event, gladiators can find Emmy-winning costume designer Lyn Paolo at The Limited discussing how fashion defines character. Additionally, The Limited’s CEO, Diane Ellis, will be in attendance to celebrate the launch of their campaign, “The New Look of Leadership,” which highlights female empowerment and diversity in leadership. Gifts with any purchase will be handed out, and all attendees have the shot at a $250 gift card giveaway. The event will take place on Thursday, September 24, from 6 to 8 PM at The Limited, Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, 1100 S Hayes St., Arlington.

The Good Wife Costume Designer Daniel Lawson at Saks
Kick off your Saturday with a healthy dose of fashion at Saks Fifth Avenue. Daniel Lawson, costume designer for The Good Wife, and Kate Bennett, Politico reporter for “The KGB File,” will join forces to chat fall trends and workwear. An exclusive presentation of Lafayette 148 New York Fall 2015 will start at 11 AM, followed by a chance to chat one-on-one with Lawson about dressing for work. Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair
The 12th Perrennial Crafty Bastards market is going down this weekend with the help of 170 artisans from around the country. The arts fair is hosted by Washington City Paper, bringing together vendors in 12 different categories: books and paper goods, clothing, ceramics, jewelry, bath and body care, and more.
