Fans of Pottery Barn’s easy sophistication, take note: Today, Pottery Barn—and its offshoot line, Pottery Barn Kids—opens in Chevy Chase’s Mazza Gallerie mall. It’s not brand new to the neighborhood, exactly—a two-level store across the street in Chevy Chase Pavilion closed in early 2012 and was replaced with a giant H&M—but this store is now the sole location within District lines. Other area stores are all Virginia-based, in Clarendon, Fair Oaks, Tysons Corner and Reston Town Center; a Georgetown store closed in 2010.
To celebrate, the store will offer up a 10 percent discount on shoppers’ entire buy during the opening weekend.
