Extreme Home Makover Kensington Edition

Landis Construction won the COTY "Best Exterior over $100,000" award for transforming this 1960s split-level in Kensington into a Craftsman-style bungalow.

A large gable hides the existing roof line and creates a warm, inviting front porch reminiscent of a 1930s-style bungalow. 
Most of you liked the remodeling project I posted last week, which was more drastic—and expensive—than this renovation. Whereas last week's project was a whole-house remodel, this one focuses mainly on the facade. Thoughts? I'm a bigger fan of this one, but maybe that's just me…
