The shopping event we’ve all been waiting for is fast approaching. This year’s District Sample Sale, the highly anticipated shopping extravaganza to benefit N Street Village, is just five days away. DSS offers awesome (we’re talking 90-percent-off awesome) deals on clothes, shoes, and accessories from some of DC’s most stylish boutiques: Muléh, Sassanova, Ginger, Tuckernuck, and so much more. And it’s all for a good cause—in the past six years, the event has raised close to $300,000 for various charities.

Haven’t snagged a ticket yet? We can help you out. We’re giving away two VIP tickets to the sellout event—which means you’ll get access to the event and all the stylish goodies a full hour before the massive crowd. Entering is super-easy: Just leave us a comment below telling us about your dream District Sample Sale find. We’ll announce a winner Monday around noon.

While you’re at it, check out these genius DSS shopping strategies from eight seasoned pros.

Good luck!

The District Sample Sale takes place Tuesday, September 24, at 6:30 PM. Doors for VIP ticket holders open at 5:30. Tickets range from $40 to $500.

Anything that fits. I just lost a lot of weight (yea!) and need everything.

  • Amanda

I'm just starting my career and thus, my dream DDS find is professional, stylish outfit that my mom (who I believe has the best style) would approve of! And that means taking her to this event - which I know she'll love!

  • Debra

It's less about the dream find (trench coat? silk scarf? boots?) than the dream experience! I want to take my 21 year old daughter, a soon-to-be college graduate, and explore this shopping event!

  • Miriam

My dream find? A little blue dress that hugs my curves, fits me in the right places, and makes me feel confident no matter the situation.

That or some killer boots to strut my stuff this fall--buying clothes has a price, confidence in them is priceless :)
