Here’s your chance to meet the award-winning author and photographer.

’Tis the month of high-end fashion blogger appearances. First came Man Repeller at the W Hotel. Next weekend, Bryanboy and Robin Givhan host a trend presentation at Tysons Galleria. And now Scott Schuman, the acclaimed street style photographer and author of eye-candy central the Sartorialist, is headed our way.

The jet-setting photog, whose work has appeared in VogueGQ, and other major titles, will host a Q&A session and book-signing later this month at the inaugural Art in the Mix festival, the launch event for Brookland’s Monroe Street Market. The festival, which will also showcase the work of 27 local artists, is poised to attract some of DC’s most creative—and creatively dressed—presenting a serious street-style opportunity in itself. Will Schuman take notice of our city’s emerging fashion and arts community? Here’s hoping a festivalgoer or two wind up on his blog in the near future.

The free event takes place on Saturday, October 26, at 716 Monroe Street, Northeast, just off the Brookland-CUA Metro station. RSVP online.
