H&M’s Revamped Georgetown Store Opens Wednesday

It’s the first store to sell the brand’s home collection.

Georgetown's relocated H&M store will carry the limited-release Isabel Marant collaboration, at top, when it debuts Thursday, and it will be the first store to sell the brand's home line. Photographs courtesy of H&M.

Just in time for Thursday’s much-anticipated Isabel Marant collaboration debut: On Wednesday, H&M opens its brand new Georgetown store in the revamped Shops at Georgetown Park. The new 27,000-square-foot store will be one of only 44 locations nationwide to feature the Marant-designed line; visit the retailer’s website for a peek at some of the collab’s styles, which are predictably as chic and effortlessly cool as the French designer herself.

Equally exciting is this little tidbit of news: The Georgetown store will also be the very first in the nation to sell the H&M’s new(ish) home line, which launched online this summer and is chock-full of the same sort of affordable-yet-awesome goods you know and love from the Swedish retailer.

The new location opens tomorrow at noon with the usual fanfare: The first 300 shoppers will snag a free H&M tee and an Access to Fashion Pass worth up to $300, plus other offers.
