It took Jordan Stone only five months to find a soulmate in Jessica Deen. The two met through mutual friends in North Carolina where Jordan, who is in the Air Force, was home one weekend from base, and where Jessica was living at the time. The two instantly connected over dinner and a movie date, and the couple started seriously dating. A proposal came when the couple went down to Virginia Beach to spend the weekend with Jessica’s best friend, Brittany, and her boyfriend, Michael. “While Jordan distracted me, Brittany and Michael went and set up a blanket, candles, pictures of us, flowers, and a message in a bottle on the beach before sunset,” says Jessica, an exercise coordinator and personal trainer. “As we were walking down the boardwalk, Jordan led me to the spot where he then proposed.” A wedding followed 10 months later in Leesburg, Virginia.
