Gotta love a couple willing to step outside the realm of traditional venues for their wedding! We’ve seen weddings in the middle of hurricanes, in Nationals Park, and behind tables at pizza joints, but today’s location might just take the 2015 cake. With a little help from DC’s Pop! Wed Co., Arizona couple Denise Moreno and Matt Hawe exchanged vows this past Saturday at the oh-so-instagrammable reopening exhibition at the Renwick Gallery.

Weddings aren’t usually allowed at the Renwick, but luckily for Denise and Matt an exception was made. “We had the ceremony in the Grand Salon under the Echelman installation,” Maggie Gaudaen, the photography arm of Pop! Wed Co., says. “The gallery was pretty packed but we were in a corner so we thought only a few people would notice. As soon as [the officiant] pronounced them married though, the entire room broke into cheers and applause. It was amazing!”
