& Other Stories, H&M’s Sophisticated Little Sister, is Coming to Georgetown

If H&M had an Instagram-obsessed little sister with slightly more expensive tastes, she’d name her & Other Stories. This fall, & Other Stories is opening its first DC location at 3241 M Street in Georgetown.

The brand currently has just two United States stores, both in New York City, so the fact that Georgetown is next on the list is a huge get for Washington, retail-wise. The brand also plans to open shops in Beverly Hills and Costa Mesa, California and a third New York store this fall.

While Washington already has H&M stores aplenty, the clean, effortlessly chic design of & Other Stories fashion feels upscale, while still embodying current trends (hi there, leather sneakers and off-the-shoulder blouses) at moderate prices. The & Other Stories lineup encapsulates a full wardrobe for women, from shoes to bags to accessories to beauty to swimwear, designed by ateliers out of Paris and Stockholm. The brand plans to release more details and the opening date as it approaches, but while we wait through the summer heat for the store’s arrival this fall, we’ll be lusting over these perfect summer sandals and these shockingly affordable bikinis.

& Other Stories will be located at 3241 M St., NW.
