It’s hard to know where to begin with Elizabeth Orsini and Richard (Rich) Newman’s spectacular Fredericksburg farm wedding. From the pink ball gown to the eucalyptus garlands to the ombre wedding cake, we love it ALL. Take a peek at the magic in the photos below by Ben & Sophia Photography.

Though the location where Rich met Elizabeth wasn’t exactly magical—they were riding exercise bikes in an office building gym in Tysons Corner—the fact that he was able to get her to laugh within a minute of their first conversation was definitely in his favor. They went on a first date at Sweetwater Tavern, where Elizabeth’s immediate feeling of ease around Rich prompted her to steal French fries off his plate, which he graciously allowed.
Over a decade after their first meeting, Rich was with Elizabeth’s large Italian family for Christmas. As they all sat around the table for dinner and waited for Elizabeth’s father to say grace, Rich got down on one knee and proposed in front of the whole family.
For their May wedding, the pair created their own fairy tale at Glasgow Farm. A ceremony beneath a floral arch in the top floor of the barn was followed by a greenery-filled reception downstairs. Curly willow and mock orange branches filled the tall centerpieces, while garlands of silver dollar eucalyptus and floral chandeliers of roses and sweet peas added to the wonderland-vibe of the room.
Dinner was served on floral china, while dessert was made up of a chic ombre cake and colorful macaroons. After a night of celebrating with loved ones, the happy couple departed with plans to honeymoon in St. Thomas.
