Elizabeth and Jonathan met as law students at the University of Maryland. Eight years after they began dating, Jonathan popped the question while the pair were on vacation in Deer Valley, Utah. The theme: “festive elegance.” Decorated in black and gold (including tablecloths that are reminiscent of a cheetah print!), the ballroom affair included an extensive appetizer selection, a three-course dinner, plus late-night savory snacks paired with mini-milkshakes. Elizabeth’s favorite detail was the candle-filled chuppah they married under; Jonathan’s was having the judges they each clerked for officiate.
