A Black-and-White Wedding at the Waldorf Astoria Washington, DC

Included: Espresso martinis, black-tie attire, and sunset portraits.

Libby, a real estate agent from Great Falls, and Paul, who works for the Department of Homeland Security and is originally from Pennsylvania, met at Mission in Navy Yard. Libby says after spotting him, she walked up to him, gave him her number, and hoped for the best. Two years later, Paul proposed at the clock tower in the Waldorf Astoria on a private tour. Back downstairs, they celebrated with family and espresso martinis.

In June 2022, they tied the knot right back in the same venue—with a ceremony in the Waldorf Astoria’s Franklin Room, and a reception in the presidential ballroom. The theme was “DC elegance” with a white, black, green, and gold color scheme. Signature cocktails included an old fashioned, and—yep—an espresso martini. Following the big day, the pair honeymooned in Greece. See the details of their big day below.
