This Tennis-and-Politics-Themed Wedding at Meridian House Featured the Dreamiest Color Scheme

Colorful pastels and patterns, plus delicate florals, are among our favorite details.

Courtney, director at the lobbying firm the Raben Group, and Connor, founder of fundraising firm Left Rising, met working together on a political campaign. After six years of dating, Connor proposed on a tennis court.

At their June 2022 wedding, they say, they incorporated their love for tennis and politics throughout. Two primary examples: the campaign-style buttons that served as party favors, and the tennis-themed seating chart. Even their signature cocktail—the “honey deuce,” vodka-lemonade concoction with a melon dew garnish—was reminiscent of a tennis ball. And our favorite part? The delicate gold, periwinkle, black, and white color scheme and coordinating florals.
