Join Mando Alvardo, director and writer of Oedipus El Ray—currently onstage at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company—for a free performance and discussion. Miranda July, writer and director of the film Me, You & Everyone We Know, captures the energy of Portland International Airport in her new video, Haysha Royko. Only four minutes long, it’s a quick dose of indie filmmaking. It’s showing through March 13 at Artisphere. Free; running continuously in the Bijou Theater.

Graham Reynold’s score for the 2006 movie A Scanner Darkly was named Best Soundtrack of the Decade by Cinema Retro magazine. He has also composed music for theater, dance clubs, and his own band, the Golden Arm Trio. Reynolds is performing at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage. 6 PM; free.
