DANCE: Don’t miss opening night of Step Afrika’s electrifying show at the Atlas Performing Arts Center. The show fuses traditional West-African dance and drumming with modern steps and melodies. Tickets ($20 to $38.50) can be purchased at the event Web site. 8 PM.

PARTY: Blame your recent mood swings on lunar forces outside of your control, and take a load off at tonight’s Full Moon Bounce party. Dance the night away with Black Cat DJs on the Donovan House Hotel Rooftop. The pool will be open with towels available. But be on the lookout for werewolf’s. Free, 8 PM.

HAPPY HOUR: It’s the best of both worlds at the Shirlington Busboys and Poets’ Organic Happy Hour. Sip on a variety of feel-good libations, all while helping the planet. Drink specials include $2 off Butte Creek IPA Sam Smith Ale, $7 Eco Mojito Tree-Tini, and $5 Natura Chardonnay Natura Merlot. Drinking never felt so good. 4 PM.

KARAOKE: Feel like taking on someone else’s persona for the night? Well, here’s your chance—head over to Little Miss Whiskey’s Golden Dollar for their Kostume Karaoke night. Fluorescent wigs and false eyelashes encouraged. Free; 8 PM.
