Things to Do

Where & When: This Week in Washington Nightlife

What to do every night of this week for fun.

Monday: Birreria Beer Tasting
Indiana’s Three Floyds brewery makes some great beer—and tonight, you can get your chance to taste them and to meet the brewery’s owners. Birreria Paradiso in Georgetown is hosting a tasting of several of the brewery’s finest, paired with delicious food like soup and crostini, and, of course, pizza. 6:30 PM and 9 PM. $70.

Or try… The Beach Boys at Strathmore

Tuesday: Shop at a Holiday Market
Check out the fourth annual Downtown Holiday Market on F Street between Seventh and Ninth streets. A rotation of 150 local exhibitors and artisans will be selling tons of gift-worthy items, including jewelry, pottery, photography, clothing, and food. 12 to 8 PM. Get more holiday craft markets in our roundup.

Or try… Les Misérables at the Signature Theatre

Wednesday: Jewish Film Fest
The Washington Jewish Film Festival screens features, shorts, and documentaries from 11 countries and brings together actors, directors, and scholars to talk about Jewish cinema. Check out tonight’s offerings; the festival goes until Sunday.

Or try… Mary Cassatt: Friends and Family

Thursday: Holiday Charity Happy Hour
Drinking for the holidays, and for charity? That’s certainly something we can get behind. That’s what’s happening this evening at Adams Morgan bar Bourbon, when Bartending 4 Change hosts a happy hour to benefit Hands on DC at its annual holiday happy hour. 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

Or try… Dr. John at Blues Alley
