Fabio Trabocchi, the chef at Maestro in the Ritz Carlton, resigned from the Tysons Corner restaurant today. Under Trabocchi's direction, the restaurant earned four stars and a No. 2 ranking in our annual Best Restaurants issue this past January.
Trabocchi will be opening a restaurant of his own in SoHo, in New York.
An official announcement will be made next week.
