• A makeover for the West End neighborhood could be underway very soon: Calls for development proposals were issued earlier this week by the city government for the neighborhood’s public library, fire station, and special-operations police-unit building. [DCmud]
• Park Place, a 200,000 square-foot mixed-use development across from the Georgia Avenue Metro station in Petworth, has been completed. The development has over 160 apartments, 30 of which will serve as affordable homes. [Housing Complex]
