After this waterlogged week, it feels like the frizzfest of bad hair days might never end. And while no one but Mother Nature can rid the forecast of daily downpours, a few hair-care brands do promise to at least rid your rainy days of horrible hair. Here are six of the gels, sprays, and serums that specialize in combatting the inevitable puffiness.

Bumble and Bumble Defrizz, $27

This versatile product can be used on damp hair before styling or after dry.

Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Serum, $16

A good serum is key to glossy, super-soft hair. This lightweight one tames frizz and offers loads of shine. Bonus: It smells amazing.

Alterna Bamboo Smooth Anti-Humidity Hair Spray, $18

This weightless spray combines soft, flexible hold with humidity resistance, plus it’s made with sustainable, fair-trade, organic ingredients.

Ouidad Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel, $22

Heat-activated, this styling gel claims to shield against flyaways by “breathing” with the humidity. Prefer a spray formula? This brand also offers a finishing shine spray that promises to fight frizz.

Garnier Anti-Humidity Smoothing Milk, $3.49

This styling milk uses fruit-based micro-waxes to seal each strand.

Blow Pro Weather Girl Pure Anti-Frizz Serum, $22

Soy and silk proteins help lock out frizz by insulating the hair cuticle, while nourishing hair.
