Show your support for local style bloggers doing big things at the SpicyCandyDC/South Moon Under lookbook celebration. Bloggers Carlis Sanchez and Katya Ananieva collaborated with the team at the President Wears Prada to create this stunning set of images using items from South Moon Under stores. At the event you can also meet Nylon editor Dani Stahl and score 20 percent off all purchases. Turquoise tassel satchel, you will be ours. 2700 Clarendon Blvd.; 6 to 9 PM.

Fashion District, our favorite showcase of DC design talent, is back in Georgetown tonight, and bigger than ever. This season, the ReadySetDC crew is scrapping its old runway routine--instead you can see and shop locally designed brands such as Kolton J., Accoutre, Aliceanna, Artaya, Hugh & Crye, Kelly Tang, Ginger Root design, and more in a showroom experience. $40 gets you early access, a complimentary cocktail, and small plates from Cafe Saint-Ex and Matchbox; $30 (general admission) lets you in an hour later but still comes with a gratis drink. 3255 Grace St., NW; buy tickets and find more information here

Urban Chic Georgetown hosts its annual Shoshanna trunk show. The designer's sweet dresses are our favorite go-tos for spring/summer weddings, and the 15 percent discount today makes it an ideal time to start shopping. 1626 Wisconsin Ave., NW; 10 AM to 8 PM.

Friday, April 13

Rachel Zoe's utterly adorable former assistant Brad Goreski has branched out to bigger and better things--namely his own reality show, his own client list, and now, his own book. He'll be signing copies of Born to Be Brad from 6 to 8 PM at the Georgetown Brooks Brothers (3011 M St., NW; 202-298-8797). Now's your chance to meet the man responsible for Jessica Alba's colorful new look and Kate Spade's cute promotional videos in person!

Saturday, April 14

Meet What Not to Wear's Stacy London (a.k.a. our first major fashion crush--read a very young and inexperienced interview with her right here) at the Westfield Montgomery Mall. As part of Westfield's Shopper Style tour, London and members of her Style for Hire team will dole out personal style consultations, makeovers, and insider tips for deciphering spring trends. London will be available for photo ops from 12 to 2 and 3 to 5 this Saturday, but the fashion consultations continue next weekend. Click here for more information.

Columbia Heights consignment boutique Black-Eyed Susie (3443 14th St., NW; 202-588-9039) hosts a pop-up shop from 1 to 5 PM. Stop by for vintage/handmade finds from Quarterlife, Scentsy, Erika Horn Vintage, and Annie Grace Knits. You can even get your bike cleaned and lubed while you shop.

Attention DC vintage lovers! Blogger/photog team Kristin Hargrove of Be Loud Be You and Denisio Truitt of the Ravenous Creator are celebrating the launch of their reconstructed vintage line, "8 Vintage," with happy hour specials, giveaways, and more at Barcode (1101 17th St., NW; 202-955-9001) from 5 to 8 tonight. If you're at all familiar with the traffic-stopping looks these ladies create (now would be a good time to check out their blogs if not), you know this is something to get excited about.

Wednesday April 18

Feeling a little District Sample Sale withdrawal this year? The Georgetown Boutique District fills the void with its Sip & Sample sale. Shop major markdowns from Sherman Pickey, Ella-Rue, Julia Farr, Sassanova, Wink, Sissy Yates, Stella & Dot, and more in the historic Letelier Theater. There will be cocktails and snacks. 3251 Prospect St., NW (upper courtyard behind Cafe Milano); 3 to 9 PM. $50 early admission; $25 regular admission. Purchase tickets here.

Thursday April 19

Get to know the gals behind Snobswap, DC's newest online marketplace for swapping/shopping/selling designer goods, at the Swap & Sip launch party at Tari boutique. Consignment-minded fashionistas are invited to bring designer or vintage bags or accessories to swap with other guests. 1525 Wisconsin Ave.; 202-621-7500. 6:30 to 8:30. Free; RSVP here

Saturday April 21

DewdropDC hosts another clothing swap at the Arlington Hilton. Bring five or more spring/summer items to trade with other swappers, or shop an eclectic mix of local apparel and accessory lines. Tickets (buy them here) are $10 if you're bringing items to swap and $15 if you plan on showing up empty-handed. For tips on how to score the best loot at a clothing swap, click here

Friday April 27

Georgetown's annual French Market runs Friday and Saturday this weekend. Sneak in a little joie de vivre with a stroll along upper Wisconsin Avenue--more than 30 Georgetown boutiques, galleries, and antiques shops will offer prices up to 70 percent off at this open-air European-style market. Find more details here.
