Score Unique Gifts (And Support Students!) at the Corcoran’s Pop-Up Shop

The first of many holiday pop-ups we’ll be telling you about in the days to come starts Thursday.

Want to get your hands on something truly creative this holiday season? Then plan on stepping away from the malls this weekend and into one of Washington’s most beloved museums. Starting tomorrow, the Corcoran hosts Off the Walls, a three-day shopping market featuring wares from Corcoran students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Expect jewelry, ceramics, fine art, and even some wearables. If there’s someone on your list who dreads looking like everyone else, this would be the place to pick her up something truly-one-of-a-kind.

PS—If you want to get started tonight, Refinery20 DC’s got the word on Pop-Up Africa, a holiday market starting at 5 tonight in Columbia Heights.

Corcoran Gallery of Art (North Atrium) 500 17th St., NW; 202-639-1700. Thursday 5 to 9 PM, Friday 10 to 3, and Saturday 10 to 3.
