Go Bare Tour Launch Party
What’s not to love about a party that pairs up beauty with baked goodies? To kick off Bare Minerals’ national Go Bare tour, the cosmetics brand teams up with sweets shop Georgetown Cupcake, where a traveling team of beauty gurus will offer up complimentary make-unders and personalized beauty secrets. Tuesday 3 to 7 PM. Georgetown Cupcake, 3301 M St., NW. RSVP to

Beauty Night Out
The 6th annual beauty soiree offers a night of pampering, with complimentary makeovers, skincare consultations, mini spa treatments, and—of course—cocktails. Vendors include Votre Vu, Manicures-n-Motion, Aveda, and more, and advanced ticket buyers snag a swag bag featuring samples from the likes of Kiehl’s and Deborah Lippmann. The night benefits Fashion Fights Poverty’s youth fashion programs. Wednesday 5 to 10 PM. Longview Gallery, 1234 9th St., NW. $35 in advance through Eventbrite and $45 at the door.

Relâche Spa’s Summer Preview & Open House

Up for grabs: Product samples, giveaways, and a free gift bag for the first 50 guests. Thursday 6 to 9 PM. 201 Waterfront St., National Harbor. RSVP to 301-965-4414.

Bold and Beautiful Posh Party
Virtual consignment app Poshmark hosts its first local Posh Party with a night of cocktails, mingling, and style swapping. Shop the fashionable closets of some of our fave local bloggers: Lacey of A Lacey Perspective, Alison of Chain Strap Purse, Meaghan of District Sparkle, Melanie of La Belle Mel, and Ashleigh of The Daileigh. Thursday 7 to 10 PM. Lost Society, 2001 14th St., NW. RSVP mandatory; email with “DC Posh Party” in the subject line.

The Great Gatsby Movie Party
Looking for an excuse to bust out your feathers & fringe? Dying to rock a finger wave? Here’s your chance: GregsListDC and What Do I Wear host a ’20s-themed party inspired by the upcoming release of Baz Luhrmann’s much-anticipated Great Gatsby. It’ll be held at the penthouse of the gorgeous, historic SunTrust bank building, and $40 gets you open bar (featuring the decade-appro mint julep as the night’s signature drink), hors d’oeurves, dessert and a chance to snag advance screening passes to the movie. Get dolled up in your most glam era attire (think deco beading and drop-waist dresses) then capture your fab ensemble in the photo booth down in the bank’s antique vault. Friday 8 to midnight. 1445 New York Ave., NW, 9th Floor. $40 through Eventbrite.

Fashion for the Cure
Paul Wharton hosts this fundraiser fashion show, which supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Check out the latest collections from Spain’s Hoss Intropia, Baltimore menswear designer Christopher Schafer Clothier, and The Style Matrix’s line, Haute Heritage. Music, a silent auction, and a raffle round out the night’s festivities. Sunday 5 to 8 PM. The Huxley, 1730 M St., NW. $60 through Eventbrite.
