Thursday, May 7: Heavenly Events money-management seminar
In this economy, a bride needs to be savvy about saving money. The wedding-planning company Heavenly Events is hosting a “Money Matters” bridal seminar at the Seven Springs Village Clubhouse (9310 Cherry Hill Rd., College Park). Couples can ask wedding planners questions about throwing a budget-friendly wedding, learn how to create and stick with a budget, create a workable to-do list and calendar, and determine the size and style of their wedding. Thursday, May 7: Dance Body Makeovers training class
Need to get fit in time for the big day? Dance Body Makeovers is offering the first in a series of classes designed to do just that. Every Thursday from May 7 through May 28, an hourlong workout session is led by trainer Kiona Leah at Deni DanzCo studio (3408 Annandale Rd., Falls Church; 703-795-6446).
