Sniff Out a Bargain
Rummage for bargains at the Shoe Hive and Hysteria’s latest collaboration, a sale boutique called the Attic located above Hysteria in Old Town. You’ll find prices of 60 to 80 percent off both stores’ designer merchandise by names such as Tory Burch, Butter, and Marc Jacobs. We’re sad to report that U Street’s Moojoo Ken is closing. On June 6, designers take to the runway as part of Flaunt, a fashion-and-photography exhibit at Anacostia’s Honfleur Gallery. Designers such as Dana Greaves, Taimur Baig, Lara Akinsanya, and Will Sharp will debut fashions in a runway show to music by local musicians. UPDATE: Due to a festival taking place in the area and shutting down streets, the event time for Flaunt on June 6 has been changed. The event will now start at 8:30 with the runway show beginning at 9:00.
