If you’ve considered, even briefly, creating a wedding inspired by your favorite movie (for me, it was Sound of Music, but my husband nixed the idea), you should totally check this out. Bree Ryback from Capitol Romance, Abby Grace Photography (who took the shot above), and lots of other area vendors created a styled shoot of a wedding inspired by Harry Potter. Yes, a Harry Potter-themed wedding. And guess what? It’s amazingly tasteful, well done, and includes lots of ideas that could inspire even a non-Hogwarts themed wedding. Just check it out.

Gray and yellow is one of our favorite color schemes, and we love how this couple incorporated these hues into their Eastern Shore celebration. The bride’s boat shoes are just so cute (and comfy) and the bridemaids’ look is just divine.
—United With Love
Another favorite color scheme: purple, purple, and more purple! Here’s a Charlottesville Vineyard wedding that mixes rich, deep purples with white for some lovely decor. Such whimsical details, too!
—Style Me Pretty
This wedding has the whole vintage-rustic-whimsical thing down pat. Even the bean bags in the bean bag toss match the gray color scheme—how could you not love that?

A lion made completely out of flowers. It’s pretty darn fantastic and just one of the amazing details at this gorgeous Baltimore Indian wedding.
