This is the Garden Wedding Inspiration of Your Dreams

Not even a little rain could take away from these swoon-worthy shots.

We love looking at styled photo shoots for inspiration, but it’s not often we see one that we wish we could crawl right into, smell the flowers, and taste the perfect, preppy cake. This styled shoot by Cheers Darling Events has all the soft touches of a real wedding day–from gorgeous floral stationery, a stunning bride and groom, and bountiful, organic blooms. Though the rain did start to fall during their photo shoot with Sweet Tea Photography, the droplets only make this garden party feel all the more lush.

Cheers Darling Events knew they wanted a beautiful backdrop for their shoot, and River Farm would offer gorgeous greenery and brick work beneath the sweeping white gown and well-laid table. “Nothing lends to film photography better than rich natural light, River Farm’s expansive gardens fit the bill,” says Cheers Darling Events planner Kaitlin Przezdziecki. “As River Farm is the ‘American Horticultural Society’ as inspiration, we mimicked botanical specimen board using escort tags and single blooms.”

The bride’s gown, with it’s gorgeous lace detailing up the back, came from local bridal salon, Hitched, while the groom donned a slim suit from Bonobos. The bridesmaids’ light spaghetti strap gowns work for a casual garden party setting, with beaded detailing to up the glam factor.

For the tablescape, Cheers Darling Events used gorgeous gold-accented place settings. “I wanted to create something with a romantic garden feel but with a pop of sass, pairing it with a bold, colorful linen,” says Przezdziecki. Top it all off with a preppy stripped cake, and all this garden party is missing is guests.

Though the rain did fall during the photo shoot, we still think the shots are swoon-worthy, and Przezdziecki says it “made for a more organic and natural experience.” If nothing else, couples can rest assured that not even rain can ruin their big day.
